It's Monday afternoon and I'm at home. I'm currently recovering from last Friday's dental surgery. Last week, I found out that I needed to have my wisdom teeth extracted. I had my first session last Friday, and a second one after three weeks. It's a good thing that these operations are covered by insurance. The cost of meds really set me back a lot.

Well, I was disappointed that the extraction wasn't as painless as I was made to believe. Though that may be because my tooth was larger and deeper than expected. I was injected with anesthesia so many times and the entire session lasted for almost two hours. The longest two hours of my life. I really hoped that the pain (afterwards) would be overrated, but it's really, really, really not. I woke up at 1AM as the anesthesia wore out and it just brought me to tears.

So here I am enjoying my mandatory rest. I miss being able to eat an entire spoonful of food and eating more than baby-sized pieces of fish, chicken, and soft meat.

Skipping work is not as fun as it used to be. I'm still thinking of work-related stuff at the back of my mind. :(

I got a surprise today! My visa was finally delivered! :)
